My position covers a wide range of responsibilities, from routine scheduling to larger ongoing projects, meaning that I have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills and that I am never bored at work! I have plenty of support and am encouraged to ask for help, but I still maintain a high level of independence in my work. Working for the Powell Academy of Music, has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Working with many music teachers and students is always exciting and fast-paced, but being there to see young kids fall in love with music for the first time is always such a treat. The job covers a lot of administrative tasks, and requires someone to always be on their toes, as the lobby can get quite busy with musicians bustling in and out. Working for PAoM is such a fun place to work!
